The IAC is a not for profit organization. It is composed of professional Christian musicians whose focus is a desire to return the arts back to its heritage - the church. For far too long, the church has been following the trends of pop culture, rather than creating the trends, which is the vision of our artists.
IAC Music was the brainchild of Tulsa Guitar Society
members Rod Saunders, Marcus Curtis and Joesf Glaude. Joesf's home church
had been holding an annual concert for the Day Center for the Homeless called
the BUS (blankets, underwear, and socks) Concert. These concerts had been
so successful that Rod suggested we expand the concerts to include other
charities as well as other professional working musicians/members of the TGS.
Inspired by a concert series
held in Minnesota we began contacting other
churches. Pastors Phil and Susan Berg of Knife River,
Minnesota had begun a concert series to give back to the community as
well as reintroduce the arts. It helped to grow their church by almost 20%
and enabled them to expand their charity work in an economically depressed
community.
